JANUARY 22, 2013 - In keeping with the #Glory-Be-Project

Sometimes, you just have to float
Sometimes, you just have to let go
And sometimes
you just have to

There is a time for everything and, usually, time for everything. Don't forget to look back, no matter what is there, and remember where you came from
why you came
and where you are going

I seek my pain so that I may never forget it. It made me who I am

*Note* I've noticed something peculiar about this deviation in particular - perhaps it is because of the fun-tastic nature of the formatting I did, but the browser type & magnification happens to effect whether or not it displays properly, sometimes throwing things off by as many as a few spaces! Enormous, I know, but an inch may as well be a mile if it's visual poetry ;P

Just a notice to anyone out there that cares and finds themselves thinking "This looks awful!" it may be because of the browser &/or magnification! I happen to use Google Chrome @ a magnification of 90% (slightly zoomed out).

XD I couldn't get this to format correctly
Have you considered saving this as a PDF and uploading it as a picture?
DogmaticKerr Jan 24, 2013  Hobbyist Writer
Yeah, that is partially my fault and partially dA's fault there :lmao: I didn't realize until my last few poems that my tendency to browse at 90% zoom had an effect on what I was seeing versus what most others were likely seeing! :faint: I can do that? I should do that! :D I'll give it a shot ASAP!

If you use word, you can save a document in a PDF, don't know if you can save it as another pic file or not... but you can always resave a PDF as a pic, later... :)

You are beautiful and brilliant! :faint: This could really end up helping a LOT, so thank you!
vespera Jan 24, 2013  Hobbyist Writer
I hope it does :D

I have found a solution! I did a test run of it tonight with my latest poem and it worked :evillaugh: So now I just have to go back and do the same with all the other visual poems and no one else should ever have a problem with seeing a piece in the way it was meant to be seen! :faint:
It's all thanks to you! :worship: Thank you so much miss!

:w00t: I hope you're able to upload them - may have to do it as a visual submission though?
DogmaticKerr Jan 30, 2013  Hobbyist Writer
Indeed, I would have - which would have torn me up inside, lying about what kind of submission I was submitting, just so that I could submit it!

Well, I agree. Bad experiences in the past does make us who we are., I have went through a lot of bad things but it made me a stronger person, a wiser person and a smarter person. =3

I believe that anyone that's actually been through such things and still maintains a sense of self, and perhaps a greater sense of this, would tend to agree  I've always toyed with the idea of my dreams coming true, of being loved by my first true crush and getting every leg-up in life I could ever imagine... such things were always fun, but never for an instant truly tempting. I wouldn't change a thing in my past, as much as it hurt, for the simple fear of not ending up the way I have. I want to be me
